Who we serve
Take Stock in Children was established in 1995 as a non-profit organization in Florida that provides a unique opportunity for low-income and at-risk students, many from minority families, to escape the cycle of poverty through education.
Take Stock in Children of Sarasota County became their own 501(c)3 in 2001. They currently work within 23 Sarasota County schools; providing more than 250 students with college scholarships, mentoring and hope.
Start your journey of preparing for college.
If you can donate one hour per week, you can change a child's life forever.
This is your opportunity to support college attainment for an at-risk child.
